Nano Skin works against salts and pollutants in the crystals. It gives them properties that make them easy to clean, even with the use of water only, in other words without the use of chemical cleaners, which indirectly contributes to the protection of the environment. This phenomenon, known as the lotus effect, consists in the repulsion of water (hydrophobicity), from the leaves of the plant of the same name. Dust particles and inorganic pollutants are picked up by water droplets due to the complex nanostructure of the surface, which minimizes their adhesion. This technology exhibits a combination of both hydrophobic and mild oilophilic characteristics, which means that the surface on which it is applied becomes self-cleaning when wet, but also easily cleaned of grease and oil.
